Main Street (PTH 9) and Meadowland Drive/ Riverglen Crescent Intersection Improvements
Construction will begin for the roadwork’s of Main Street (PTH 9) from Loganberg Drive to the South Ramps of Perimeter Hwy (PTH101) in June as part of the Main Street (PTH 9) and Meadowland Drive/ Riverglen Crescent Intersection Improvements in the RM of West St. Paul. Construction on Main Street will take approximately 5 months.
The proposed work is sponsored by local developers and overseen by Manitoba Infrastructure. Major works will include pavement removal, ditch excavation, culvert upgrades where required, reconstruction and regrading of the driveways and side streets, new roadway base, asphalt paving, upgraded signalized intersection and miscellaneous works.
In consideration of surrounding area roads, ease of construction, and efficiency of time the adjacent Main Street side streets will be signed "Local Access Only” during construction and will allow only Local Vehicles, Deliveries and Emergency Access through the side street construction zone. There may be times during roadway excavation and paving operations that your driveway access will be restricted for a time. The local contractor will be providing notice for these operations.
