Help Us Name West St. Paul’s New Dog Park!

West St. Paul’s new off-leash dog park is getting a name, and we want your help!

We’re inviting West St. Paul residents of all ages to submit their ideas for the name of the new dog park on Grassmere Road.

Think about what makes West St. Paul unique. You could draw inspiration from the surrounding area, local history, the landscape or what the park means to our community.

How it works

Submit a name: October 8 to 18, 2026

Residents can submit their name idea through the online contest form. Please include a brief explanation of why you chose the name.

Following the submission period, three finalists will be selected by RM of West St. Paul staff.

Vote for your favourite: October 20 to 28, 2026

The three finalists will be put to a public vote, with the finalist receiving the most votes becoming the official name of the dog park. And, there’s a prize! The person who submitted the winning name will receive a West St. Paul prize pack.

Submit your name: https://weststpaul.com/dog-park-contest

Contest is open to West St. Paul residents only. RM of West St. Paul employees are not eligible to participate. Full contest rules are available at the link above.
