Hosting a raffle? You need a licence for that.

Organizations based in West St. Paul that are looking to conduct a raffle will need a Raffle Lottery Licence. For sports teams, a licence must be obtained in the jurisdiction in which most games are played as the home team.

The licence fee is 1% of the total prize value, with a minimum fee of $5. West St. Paul can issue licences for raffles with a total prize value of up to $3,000. For raffles with a total prize value exceeding $3,000, a licence must be obtained through the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority (LGCA).
