Are you highly organized, detail‑oriented, and passionate about delivering accurate financial services? Join the RM of West St. Paul’s Finance Department as our next Finance Clerk and play a key role in supporting the municipality’s day‑to‑day financial operations, including accounting, payroll, taxation, utility billing, and customer service
What You’ll Do
- Perform full-cycle accounting (AP/AR, general ledger, reconciliations)
- Process payroll, timesheets, and statutory remittances
- Support property tax and utility billing administration
- Assist with month-end, year-end, and audit preparation
- Provide customer service and respond to financial inquiries
What We’re Looking For
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business, or related field
- 2–3 years of relevant financial/administrative experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; MuniSoft experience is an asset
- Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills
