$51,692.06 - 67,995.20 annually, based on experience. Comprehensive benefits package included.

Position Objectives:

Are you highly organized, detail‑oriented, and passionate about delivering accurate financial services? Join the RM of West St. Paul’s Finance Department as our next Finance Clerk and play a key role in supporting the municipality’s day‑to‑day financial operations, including accounting, payroll, taxation, utility billing, and customer service


What You’ll Do

  • Perform full-cycle accounting (AP/AR, general ledger, reconciliations) 
  • Process payroll, timesheets, and statutory remittances 
  • Support property tax and utility billing administration 
  • Assist with month-end, year-end, and audit preparation 
  • Provide customer service and respond to financial inquiries

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business, or related field 
  • 2–3 years of relevant financial/administrative experience 
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and high attention to detail 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; MuniSoft experience is an asset 
  • Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills
