Fireworks & Noise By-Law Reminder

The RM of West St. Paul would like to remind residents that if you are planning outdoor activities or celebrations, please be mindful of those living around you and help keep our community safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Under the Municipality's Noise By-Law, the firing or setting off of fireballs, squibs, firecrackers, and fireworks is prohibited. Community Safety and By-Law Enforcement Officers will conduct increased patrols throughout the RM during events and holidays, including Canada Day and festivals. Fines for illegally setting off fireworks can be up to $1,000.

Before using fireworks or taking part in activities that may cause excessive noise or disruption, please be mindful of your neighbours, animals, wildlife, and the safety of everyone in the community.

Thank you for helping keep West St. Paul a safe and respectful place to live.
