Local Improvement District (LID) Construction Update
The Municipality would like to provide residents with an update on the current status of Local Improvement District (LID) infrastructure projects.
Catchment Area: Minnehaha, Kenabeek, and Hiawatha
Construction in this catchment area is well underway, with significant progress achieved to date:
- 769 metres of pipe installed
- 3 manholes installed
- 40 sewer services installed
- Lift station construction is 100% complete
- Mechanical work is approximately 50% complete
- Forcemain installation is 100% complete
Catchment Area: Nye and Baldock
Construction in the Nye and Baldock catchment area has not yet begun. Mobilization is scheduled for February 11, 2026, subject to weather conditions.
The Municipality appreciates residents’ patience and cooperation during construction. Additional updates will be provided as work progresses.
