Empty Paper Cups Now Accepted in Blue Bins

West St. Paul residents can now recycle empty paper beverage cups in their household blue bins.

Accepted paper cups include:

• Coffee cups
• Fountain drink cups
• Frozen beverage cups
• Other hot and cold paper beverage cups

How to recycle paper cups

Recycling paper cups is simple:

• Empty the cup.
• Remove the lid.
• Place the paper cup in your blue bin.

Please note that plastic lids, straws, stir sticks, and other non-paper items are not accepted in household recycling and should be disposed of separately.

This change is part of ongoing improvements to Manitoba's recycling system, making recycling instructions clearer and more consistent for residents across the province.
