Prepare to be a confident and responsible caregiver! This comprehensive course teaches participants the skills necessary to safely and effectively look after younger children and to handle situations while staying home alone.

 

What You Will Learn:

  • Care Skills: Basic skills for looking after babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.

  • Home Safety: How to create a safe environment and deal with phone calls or unexpected visitors.

  • Self-Care: How to care for yourself and siblings when home alone.

  • Problem Solving: Techniques for coping with common issues like tantrums and crying.

  • Entertainment: Games and activities to keep children of all ages entertained.
