Snow Clearing Operations
Following yesterday’s snowfall and drifting, Public Works crews are out today addressing priority areas across the municipality.
- West of PTH 8: All drifted roads will be cleared.
- Between PTH 8 and PTH 9: Drifting has mainly impacted entrances off the highways. Crews will be clearing these areas to restore access. As today is garbage collection day in this area, final required clearing will be completed tomorrow.
- East of Main Street: Street approaches east off Main Street will be opened to allow for access.
- Developments off Main Street: Main collector roads will be cleared today. Residential streets will be addressed as needed tomorrow.
- Sanding: Crews will be sanding slippery areas on roads being worked on today.
