We’re Hiring: Administrator!

 

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting both planning and HR functions? Join the RM of West St. Paul as our Administrator and play a key role in keeping our operations efficient and responsive!

 

Job Type:            Full-Time Permanent (40 hrs per week)

Start Date:          To be determined

Salary:                 $51,962.92 – $67,799.82 annually, based on experience.

What You’ll Do

As our Administrator, you’ll provide administrative and coordination support to both the Planning and Human Resources functions within the Municipality. You’ll assist with permit processing, application tracking, and communication with residents and developers, while supporting HR programs and maintaining accurate records.

·        Process and track planning applications, permits, and approvals

  • Maintain property and mapping databases
  • Support HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, and training
  • Prepare job postings, coordinate interviews, and maintain employee records
  • Assist with workplace health and safety compliance

What We’re Looking For

·        Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Planning, or Human Resources

·        2–3 years of administrative experience (municipal or government setting preferred)

·        Knowledge of planning processes and/or HR practices

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office and records management systems

·        Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

·        Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
