RM ready for snow clearing

Environment and Climate Change Canada is predicting heavy snowfall along the Trans-Canada Highway, including the City of Winnipeg and West St. Paul, beginning this afternoon and ending midday tomorrow, Dec. 18.

Some areas could receive 10 to 20 centimeters of snow. Strong winds may lead to blowing snow and reduce visibility in many areas and there is also a chance of freezing rain in some parts of the province.

West St. Paul Public Works will be monitoring road conditions and snow clearing equipment is ready to go out as necessary. Crews will be clearing roads when conditions allow operators to safely do so.

The Municipality's snow clearing policy can be found on the RM website at weststpaul.com

Heavy snow events may cause delays to garbage and recycling collection. We ask for patience and understanding should this occur.
