J.C. (Chic) Balderstone Memorial Award – 2023

 West St. Paul Recreation Committee Youth Volunteer Award – 2023

The West St. Paul Recreation Committee invites you to nominate individuals from our community who are contributing to volunteerism.  Letters of nomination must outline the nominee’s volunteer experience and why they would be a good candidate to receive the award.  Forward your nomination in writing to the West St. Paul Recreation Committee c/o 3550 Main St. West St. Paul, MB R4A 5A3 or Email: recreation@weststpaul.com

Deadline for submissions is Monday May 1, 2023 at 1:00pm

 J.C. (Chic) Balderstone Memorial Award:

  • Criteria:
    • To recognize, on an annual basis, an individual who has provided outstanding community services to the RM of West St. Paul
    • Recipient must
      • Be a resident of the RM of West St. Paul
      • Be 18 years of age or older
    • Current elected officials and full time, part time, casual paid staff and current Recreation Committee Board Members are ineligible for this award
  • Previous recipients include:

    • Resident of West St. Paul, under the age of 18, who has made a contribution to their school, an organization or the community through their volunteerism
