West St. Paul outdoor rinks ready for skaters

Skating rinks in West St. Paul are now open for all to enjoy.

Rinks at Emes, McNaughton and Centennial Parks were open this past weekend, and Riverdale and Hiawatha park rinks are being flooded now and will be ready for skaters by the end of the week.

The outdoor rink and the outdoor pleasure rink at the Sunova Centre opened Dec. 19 for skaters. A schedule for the Sunova rink will be posted on the RM website shortly.

The RM of West St. Paul strongly recommends the use of CSA approved hockey helmets for skaters of all ages.

Those using any of the outdoor rinks in the RM do so at their own risk.

If you are using the Outdoor Rink or the Outdoor Pleasure Rink at the Sunova Centre, please park in the main parking lot for the safety of skaters, and do not park on the east side of the building.

Happy skating everyone!
