West St. Paul Youth Sports & Recreation Committee
The RM of West St. Paul/Sunova Centre is proud to host Youth Sports – such as Hockey, Soccer, Mini Soccer, Baseball and Softball

The West St. Paul Recreation Committee, which includes the core Committee Chair Members as well as the dedicated Sports Conveners, is responsible for:
  • Administrating recreational activities and organized youth sports in the community
  • Administrating youth registrations in hockey, soccer and baseball and any other organized youth sports as determined in the future
  • Promoting fundraising activities for future development and/or growth of the RM of West St. Paul
  • Communicating with the residents of the RM of West St. Paul to determine the need for recreational activities and organized youth sports, and make them aware of the recreational activities and sports programs currently being offered
Registration for Softball/Baseball/Mini Soccer/Soccer is usually held in late February/early March
 
Registration for Hockey/Indoor Soccer is usually held in late August.

West St. Paul Recreation Committee Youth Volunteer Award – 2018

The West St. Paul Recreation Committee invites you to nominate individuals from our community who are contributing to volunteerism

Letters of nomination must outline the nominee’s volunteer experience and why they would be a good candidate to receive the award

Awards will be presented at the Canada Day Celebrations on July 1st, 2018 at the Sunova Centre – West St. Paul’s Recreation Site

J.C. (Chic) Balderstone Memorial Award:
  • Criteria: 
    • To recognize, on an annual basis, an individual who has provided outstanding community services to the RM of West St. Paul
    • Recipient must
      • Be a resident of the RM of West St. Paul
      • Be 18 years of age or older
    • Current elected officials and full time, part time, casual paid staff and current Recreation Committee Board Members are ineligible for this award

West St. Paul Recreation Committee Youth Volunteer Award (Under 18yrs):
  • Criteria: 
    • Resident of West St. Paul, under the age of 18, who has made a contribution to their school, an organization or the community through their volunteerism
